30 Days Wild (Day 9) Foxglove

As the blossom from the trees is all but spent it is time for the flowers to take the thrown. One of the rightful contenders of this majesty is the foxglove. In the country it takes to the hedgerows and sides of the roads forming a purple frame around the lush greens, but in the city or suburban garden, especially in Glasgow with the contrast of sandstone buildings, it forms a juxtaposition with concrete and stone. This contrast accentuates the beauty of the flower and highlights its struggle just to exist.
